Three Design Studios of Laval University and McGill University think about Northern Living !

This Fall, around forty master students in architecture from Laval University and McGill are working on the development of living environments and culturally appropriated equipment for Inuit and Innu communities.

The exploration areas are Uashat mak Mani-Utenam in the Nitassinan, Kuujjuarapik, Salluit and Kuujjuaq, in Nunavik. Students will travel to meet northern experts and local populations to improve their understanding and to share their reflections.
