Le colloque étudiant Habiter le Nord québécois sera de retour pour une 3e année le vendredi 3 mai 2019, au Terminal de croisières de Québec (84 rue Dalhousie, rez-de-chaussée, 8h30 à 17h00).
Intitulé Collaborer, comprendre, imaginer en milieux autochtones : regards croisés, deux invités d’honneur seront présents pour partager leurs réflexions : Naomi Fontaine, auteure innue, et Jean Désy, auteur et médecin nordique.
Des étudiants de 2e et 3e cycle en architecture, en géographie, en design de l’environnement et en relations industrielles de l’Université Laval, de l’Université Laurentienne (Sudbury) et de l’UQAM présenteront des résultats de recherche-création et de recherche empirique menées en collaboration avec des acteurs du Nitassinan et du Nunavik. Un panel d’invités discutera également des défis de la collaboration en différents contextes.

3rd annual Living in Northern Quebec Student Symposium
Ai, Kuei kuei, Hello everyone,
The annual student symposium Living in Northern Quebec is back for its 3rd edition Friday, May 3rd 2019, at the Quebec Cruise Terminal (84 Dalhousie Street, Quebec City).
Entitled "Collaborating, Understanding, Imagining in Indigenous Territories", this symposium is proud to welcome special guests Naomi Fontaine, Innu author, and Jean Désy, author and doctor, to share their thoughts and experiences.
Graduate students in architecture, geography, environmental design and industrial relations from Université Laval, Laurentian University (Sudbury) and UQAM will present the results of design and empirical research conducted in collaboration with actors from Nitassinan and Nunavik. A panel will also discuss the challenges of collaborative research in varied contexts.
The presentations will be in French.
