A "mobilizing" mission to Nunavik and Nitassinan

Three members of Living in Northern Quebec recently met with many stakeholders from Nunavik and Nitassinan to inform them directly of our on-going partnership's objectives, activities and expected results. In all, SEVEN INUIT VILLAGES (Kuujjuarapik, Umiujaq, Inukjuak, Puvirnituq, Akulivik, Ivujivik and Salluit), an INNU COMMUNITY (Matimekush-Lake-John), as well as CREE (Whapmagoostui) and NASKAPI (Kawawachikamach) communities were visited. Many mayors, leaders, elected officials and civil servants, in addition to local school principals, are now keenly interested in our activities !
